The centerpiece of Springs Ranch is the Springs Ranch Golf Club, a public 18-hole regulation course with a driving range, putting green and chipping area. Open all year around this links-style course spans over 200 scenic acres. The golf club has a full menu service bar and grill as well as room for special meetings and parties.
Along with the golf course, there are two parks: Springs Ranch Park and Remington Park. Each one a little over four acres in size have playgrounds, soccer and baseball fields along with basketball courts and places to picnic while enjoying the scenic backdrop of Pikes Peak and the Front Range.
In addition to the many recreational facilities that exist in this neighborhood, one of the amenities of the First and Main Town Center is the 3 D IMAX theatre. Opened in 2000, it is the crown jewel of the First and Main Town Center. It is “the best seat in town” with 16 movie theaters and the very first 3D IMAX in the state of Colorado. With more than 50 merchants and more coming, the First and Main Town Center gives Springs Ranch residents everything they need right on their back doorstep.
District 49 delivers the educational future for Springs Ranch. Curriculum is based on the mission to not only graduate students but to fully prepare them for success in college and beyond. To help achieve this goal, District 49 has linked resources with higher learning sources to develop innovative career academics. Students can graduate with professional certification and/or college credit to carry them above and beyond their high school years. Remington and Springs Ranch Elementary serve the youngest while Horizon and Skyview Middle Schools channel students onto Sand Creek High School where they continue their preparation towards a life of learning. Springs Ranch is situated parallel to Powers Blvd so that commuting to Peterson and Schriever Air Force Bases and Fort Carson eases the time spent on the road. Interstate 25 can be accessed for trips northward to Denver. Highway 24 is close by as an east/west route especially for those day trips to the mountains.
