Black Forest . . . Land You Can Call Home
A most remarkable living space of forested acreage lying to the north of Colorado Springs. Black Forest came by its name when a German immigrant saw the dark hue of the Ponderosa pines reminding him of his homeland. Encompassing approximately 200,000 acres it is situated between Highway 83 on the west, to Eastonville Road on the east, with County Line Road as its northern-most boundary and Woodmen Road the south cut-off.
